Press Release: Trescal teams mobilized to safely restart affected laboratories

Paris, April 21st, 2021

On April 14th, 2021, at 7 AM Paris time (5 AM UTC), Trescal detected that it had been the target of a cybersecurity attack affecting few servers in Singapore and some European countries.

Trescal immediately disconnected the computer network and the targeted applications to protect its customers, employees and partners, thus neutralizing the attack.

Trescal’s in-house technical teams and cybersecurity experts conducted a forensic analysis in coordination with the relevant authorities.

All Trescal IT teams were entirely mobilized and are currently working to restore service in the affected laboratories.

Thanks to this exceptional mobilization, as of Monday, April 19th, the majority of affected countries, with the exception of UK, were able to entirely or partially restart service. Further updates will be provided as the situation evolves.
