Press Release: Trescal laboratories are now fully operational

Paris, May 17st, 2021

On April 14th, 2021, Trescal detected that it had been the target of a cybersecurity attack affecting some of its servers in Singapore and a few European countries.

Trescal immediately disconnected the computer network and the targeted applications to protect its customers, employees and partners, thus neutralizing the attack.

Trescal’s in-house technical teams alongside cybersecurity experts conducted a forensic analysis in coordination with the relevant authorities to restore service.

Thanks to this mobilization, on Monday, April 19th, all affected countries, with the exception of the United Kingdom, were able to restart service.

All Trescal laboratories are now functioning normally and are working hard to restore the highest quality of service.

With the increasing number and sophistication of cybersecurity attacks, Trescal remains committed to maintaining the integrity of its Information System and safeguarding employee, client and supplier information. It will continue to work with its advisors to incorporate the lessons learned from this incident.

Trescal is very thankful to its customers, employees and partners for the support they provided during the incident.
