      DIANA

      QUALITY & HSE MANAGER

I believe that belonging to the great family of Trescal is very positive because it brings greater business, growth and career development opportunities, increased knowledge and training, together with immense personal gratification

After completing her studies in Science and Food Technology, Diana started her professional career in the agri-food sector as a Quality Manager.

In 2007, she was hired by Laboratorio de Metrología y Calibración Industrial (MCI) in charge of administration, customer service, quotation and quality-related functions.

In 2008, she participated in the design, development and implementation of a complex web application.

In 2009, she moved to the Quality Department where she worked closely with the Technical Department to obtain accreditation in physical and dimensional fields, acquiring greater knowledge in calibration and aeronautical regulations.

Since Trescal’s acquisition of MCI in 2015, she has been appointed as Quality Manager for the laboratories in Toledo and Seville (Spain). She is also  Key Account Manager and  Head of Health Safety and Environment (HSE).

      JIMMY

      DIRECTOR FOR ASIA

Today, my objective is to accompany Trescal in becoming the largest calibration services provider in Asia Pacific. I find working alongside entrepreneurs who join the Group as acquisitions are made extremely enriching

Jimmy started his career in 1985 in the United Kingdom at the Nuclear Research Government Agency as Dimensional Calibration Engineer and then as Technical Manager, before being named Head of its UKAS Accredited Lab (0063)

When the company was transferred to a nuclear facility management company, he was promoted to General Manager for the calibration business units, comprising four laboratories based across the UK. In 1999, he was named Head of Customer Branches at QinetiQ. In 2009 his team was transferred to Trescal and he was appointed Trescal UK Program Manager for the customer’s 18 embedded sites comprising 150 people.

In 2011, Trescal was entrusted by its largest aerospace customer to build an on-site calibration lab in Singapore. In addition to supporting the customer in the field, Jimmy also set up Trescal’s first greenfield calibration lab in Singapore in 2015 and developed the customer portfolio. In 2017, Jimmy was appointed Director for Asia, a highly strategic market for the Group.

    • Fran Mañas-4
      FRAN

      GENERAL MANAGER FOR SPAIN

When Trescal acquired the calibration division of Tecnalia in 2014, I was appointed site manager for both Trescal locations in Spain (Bilbao and Vittoria) and able to accompany the Group in its development.

Fran started his career at Alstom as a Quality Engineer in the industrial engineering department. He then became the Manager of the Electrical Workshop.

In 2012, he joined Tecnalia, a private technology and innovation research center, as the Head of the Low Voltage and Power Electronics Laboratory.

Fran’s motto has always been to be the one who makes his own future. In 2017, when the country manager position for Spain was opened, he decided to apply. After an impressive two-year career, the Group appointed him as General Manager for Trescal Spain. Today he supervises 350 people working across eight branches.

Throughout his career, Fran has sought to have well-balanced family life coupled with his professional responsibilities, and even if his current role is demanding, he is pleased to be able to keep this balance.

    • patrice rezised
      PATRICE

      BRANCH MANAGER

Thanks to this position, I was able to travel and visit branches abroad, including in Argentina, Siberia, Tunisia, and the French Overseas Territories

Patrice began his career at Trescal in 2009 as a trainee in the Engineering and Maintenance business unit after graduating in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He continued as an apprentice during his final professional degree year in Computer Science before being hired as a Calibration Technician in July 2010.

Ambitious and fully invested in his assignments, his potential was soon identified. In August 2014, he was appointed as manager of the embedded site of one of the Group’s main customers, a Cannes-based aerospace company, before being promoted to Production Manager of the Toulon branch in April 2017.

In March 2019, Trescal appointed him Manager of the Toulon branch.

His objectives are clear: “Boosting the performance of the Toulon branch and training future managers, as I was trained myself.”

      OLIVER

      LABORATORY MANAGER

It is very gratifying to belong to the Trescal family and to be able to continue evolving at both a personal and professional level in a constantly changing industry. It is a privilege to be part of the Trescal team and to learn from all the knowledge and experience it brings.

In 1997, Oliver began his career as a Repair Technician, acquiring extensive expertise in the management and operation of measuring equipment.

With the major boom in demand for calibrations, he began to focus on his career as a Calibration Technician. In 2005, he was appointed as Technical Manager in charge of Mechanics, obtaining accreditations for mass, torque, pressure and temperature. As the lab grew and expanded, he began to both advise and work hand in hand with customers, mainly in the aeronautics sector, expanding his knowledge of aeronautical standards. In 2007, he was appointed as Project Manager in charge of designing, developing and implementing what was then one of the most comprehensive web applications for customer equipment calibration management.

      LUCIANA

      Technical Coordinator

I am proud to be able to meet the needs of our customers, whilst being a part of the excellent pool of technicians and leaders that make at Trescal today the world leader in calibration services.

Luciana is the Technical Coordinator and Signatory of the Dimensional division of Trescal’s Camaçari unit in Bahia, Brazil. She was already working with  MEC-Q, prior to its acquisition by Trescal and has been with the company for 20 years. Her first experience in metrology was as a trainee.

Her career has always been marked by a lot of training. Recently, she returned to the calibration lab and rediscovered a calibration label she worked on 20 years ago when she was an intern. This enabled her to remember and realize that all steps she had undertaken had been essential in her professional career development  and to the growth of the company. The path she has accomplished in the company means she can now follow the development of the laboratory, undertake innovations, update systems and technologies, increase productivity as well as the quality of services and procedures.

      MARGO

      HR ASSISTANT

I was eager to learn more about human resources—not just recruitment—and be at the service of all our employees. I wanted to help them so they could focus on the essentials and love their work environment. Thanks to Trescal this became possible

Margo joined Trescal Benelux at its Antwerp headquarters in August 2016, after only one year of work experience in recruitment.

Over the past years, she was able to deepen her  HR knowledge (such as payroll, training and development, administration, labour law,…), thanks to the great support of her supervisor Françoise.

She enjoyed the opportunity she was given to be able to develop her skills in a friendly environment that almost feels familiar, which was exactly what she needed in order to grow and flourish alongside Trescal

She gained the autonomy required to manage many daily HR responsibilities and prioritize them. In her opinion, Trescal is a great employer if you are eager to learn, the company values your opinion, with respect as a core value.
