Equipment Management Solutions (EMS)
Trescal offers custom calibration management services and can manage all test & measurement assets of customers' inventory through its Equipment Management Solutions (EMS) allowing its customers to focus on their core business.
The EMS offer is a combined set of services aimed at managing globally the test and measurement equipment you own or use (on a given site or, part of a site, or for a multi-site operation), with the principal objective of reducing your cost of ownership of the pool of equipment.
It can include any or all of the following services: cost diagnosis, expertise and counselling as regards to the management of test and measurement equipment, pool management, inventory management, calibration and maintenance management, inventory cost reduction, procurement and disposal, equipment rental.
As an example, TIS Métrologie manages since 1999 a large portion of Thales electronic test & measurement equipment pool including more than 80 000 equipments from 900 different manufacturers located on 40 sites.
TIS Métrologie offers to Thales a range of services including :
- Pool management,
- Tracking & utilization rate of T&M equipment,
- Selection and sourcing of T&M equipment (rental, buy new, buy 2nd hand, ...),
- Calibration management, calibration and repair of equipment in COFRAC accredited regional calibration laboratories,
- Disposal
of selected inventory.
