Trescal x Smithsonian Science Education Center (SSEC)

Our partnership with the SSEC in the United States has allowed 150 5th-grade school children to get inspired about pursuing STEM education. Through the SSEC, we have enabled the distribution of STEM kits to student’s classrooms and supported the professional development of teachers to implement the learning modules. We have also hosted field trips to our laboratories for students to engage in hands-on science and measurement learning.

Trescal x BEA Métrologie

We partner with BEA to train 3,000 aspiring metrology professionals with Trescal professors in our state-of-the-art laboratories. Co-financed by Trescal, the program prepares aspiring technicians for successful careers in calibration in one year.

Trescal x Société Française de Physique

Through the Société Française de Physique, 200 high school students of physics compete yearly during the Physics Olympiad in France. This competition raises science awareness by activating students, awakening vocations as physicists and scientists as well as developing communication abilities. A Trescal Technical Director engages with the students by judging their projects. The winners visit Trescal laboratories in France and Belgium to further pique their interest in future scientific careers.

Trescal x STEM LEARNING

Our partnership with STEM Learning offers students from underprivileged backgrounds an impactful pre-apprenticeship route by providing one or two week placement experiences over the summer. The students are inspired for their future career pathways by receiving skills and development opportunities, including practical calibration training and guidance from technical experts. They are supported financially to ensure no barrier to participation.
