Customer Service Representative – Fixed Term Contract

We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Customer Service team based in Stevenage.


The Customer Services Representative is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships on behalf of the company by taking complete responsibility for their allocated customer accounts. The successful candidate will work closely with the UK Sales Team to ensure that all of our customers are aware of the Trescal brand and the excellent service which we can provide.
This is a varied role involving not just Customer Services duties but also Sales and Marketing and general administration.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Services:-
Be the first line of contact for all customer queries and requests.

Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently and with good communication skills.

Effectively present and discuss the Trescal brand to existing and potential customers in a way that conveys an image of quality, integrity and understanding of customer needs.

Be an integral part of the internal team managing the workflow to meet customer deadlines.

Attend to customer questions, complaints and concerns immediately, and facilitate a satisfactory resolution.

Review quotations and other documentation produced for accuracy before submitting to the customer.

Contact external suppliers to facilitate outsourcing, when required, in order to source the most time efficient and cost effective solution.

Communicate effectively with internal operational teams, UK sales team and other departments to guarantee that customer objectives are met and all potential sales avenues are discussed.

Follow systems and procedures in line with the requirements of the Company

Participate as a key team player by supporting internal departments as needed

 

Sales & Marketing of the Trescal Brand:-
Support the efforts of the external / internal sales team by actively communicating any potential leads resulting from your contacting lapsed or old customers.

Contacting customers regarding past due equipment to explore the opportunity of regaining the business.

Support the sales team with any strategic sales plan by upselling.

Provide administrative support for the sales team, including the production of quotes and other administrative duties.

 

General & Administrative
Communicate effectively with internal departments such as the laboratory, logistics etc to ensure that all customer objectives are met.

Comply with all company policies and procedures in line with the requirements of the business.

Compile and maintain accurate records and paperwork where required.

Participate as a key team player by providing support to other departments when required.

Maintain excellent department housekeeping standards.

 

Skills, Competencies & Experience Required
Previous experience in a customer service or sales provision environment is essential.

Excellent communication skills both written and oral.

Excellent IT skills and knowledge of Office Suite.

Proven experience in identifying and meeting customer’s needs and requirements.

Must be a self-motivated and team orientated.

Experience of working with minimum supervision in a busy and demanding environment.

Excellent organizational skills and able to perform multi tasks efficiently and in line with specific timelines.

 

The successful candidate will be able to evidence a clear understanding of all aspects of customer services and able to demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement.

Logistics Operations Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Operations Manager in our Manchester branch, based in Bredbury. This role reports to the Branch Manager.

Role
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the role is to manage the branch logistics team to ensure that they deliver a first class service in a profitable manner, ensuring that KPI’s are met and key objectives are reached and maintained.

Ensure the smooth every day running of the Manchester & Warton logistics team in support of the UK business logistic requirements. As part of the role there will be a drive in reviewing current systems and procedures, making recommendations and implementing changes.

Main Responsibilities
Controlling operational and direct transportation costs; for example: leasing, route planning, couriers

Exploit opportunities to deliver bottom line impact and business improvement

As part of the management team control overheads in your area of responsibility to maximise operating profit

Work with the Branch Manager to deliver industry leading service performance in your areas of responsibility

Ensure the logistics team deliver and excellent service to internal and external customers.

Ensure customer delivery SLA’s are achieved and maintained.

Implement a driver awareness strategy for the company to ensure all of the logistics drivers are complaint with legislation and company policies

 

Experience & skills required
Previous experience in an operational logistics role is essential

Ideally transport or logistics qualification such as NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above

Proven ability to build strong working relationships internally within the management team.

Experienced line manager with performance management expertise.

Change management – proven experience in implementing & driving change to increase efficiency and productivity.

Ability to mentor and coach junior employees.

Team player; maintain effective working relationships at all levels within the branch and with the other UK branches.

Ability to persuade and influence others.

Proactive approach towards key decisions for the business in line with UK strategy.

Proficient in Excel, Power Point and Word and internal software systems.

Customer Service Representative

We currently have exciting opportunities within our Customer Service team based in Bredbury, Manchester.
The Customer Services Representative is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships on behalf of the company by taking complete responsibility for their allocated customer accounts. The successful candidate will work closely with the UK Sales Team to ensure that all of our customers are aware of the Trescal brand and the excellent service which we can provide.

Key Responsibilities
Receives telephone requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments and cancellations from customers, manufacturers, and distributors.

Achieves and maintains rapport with customers and works to give them the best possible service.

Responds to customer enquiries, complaints and problems. Refers technical or technically related matters to appropriate authority.

Focus on a high quality of service for customers’ satisfaction and build long term relationships with current customers in her/his portfolio

Uses ERP to retrieve customer information, equipment status information, the status of purchase orders (internal and external) and makes changes on purchase order. Ensures that correct status codes are used.

Schedules and coordinates the on-site process, equipment pick-ups, and customer priorities. Follows up on customer and vendor enquires regarding delivery information.

Works closely with the Lab Manager to ensure appropriate communication to customer. Investigates and logs customer complaints and initiates corrective actions. Then evaluates effectiveness of corrective/preventative actions and recommends alternative courses of action.

Head of Accounting Scandinavia

Mission

You are in charge of producing the general and auxiliary accounting for the Denmark and Sweden legal entities, guaranteeing the reliability of figures and compliance with tax and accounting, statutory and group procedures.

You report to the North East zone Finance Director, based in Frankfurt, Germany

 

Main tasks

  • Responsible to elaborate General Accounting for Trescal A/S and Trescal A/B;
  • You are responsible for the monthly closing within the time frame set by the Group and the statutory obligations. Consolidation package due on a quarterly basis and audited accounts provided on an annual basis;
  • You are responsible to handle and fulfill all current tax obligations ; Provide all data required for computing the annual tax return with the support of external tax advisor;
  • You supervise the external provider in charge of computing the monthly payroll and all social contributions; Insure both legal entities are strictly compliant with all social obligations.
  • Be proactive to propose any improvement in process and procedures;
  • You manage cash, with a strict control over terms of payment. Focus in priority on DSO KPI, implement an efficient cash collection process (procedure, organization, methodology, capitalizing on Group best practices);
  • You contribute to the budget cycle in support to the North East Zone Controller;

 

Profile

  • You have a bachelor's degree
  • You have at least 5 years of experience with a first experience (2 years) as Head of Accounting of a subsidiary of a large or medium industrial or services group.
  • You have a good knowdledge of general accounting and taxes (VAT and other recurrent taxes)
  • You have knowledge of cost accounting (analytical)
  • You have at least basic knowledge of legal and tax
  • You have experience with cash management and/or cash collection processes.
  • You work fluently with accounting software
  • You have perfect knowledge of Danish and English (both oral as written). Knowlegde of German is a plus.
  • You have a strong knowledge of MS Excel.
  • You interact easily with people, you have strong communication skills, you are able to dialog within a multicultural environment and with different levels of hierarchy within the group.
  • You are willing to travel to other Trescal sites in Denmark, Sweden and Germany.
