2024 ESG Report

At Trescal, we believe that our company must act as part of a global whole. Our mission to provide solutions that improve performance goes hand in hand with contributing to the greater good. We have a duty of care to operate responsibly and ethically, whether by ensuring employee well-being and a diverse workforce, mitigating our environmental impact or investing back in our communities.

Trescal’s 2024 Environmental, Social and Governance Report provides an overview of our ESG strategy, including our targets and annual progress towards them. This report features information from our 2023 fiscal year, notable achievements from the first half of 2024 and roadmap for the next four years.

Our 2024 ESG report covers four key areas:​

Take a virtual tour of Trescal’s Stevenage laboratory

Trescal’s newest purpose-built laboratory provides accredited calibration services for a range of equipment in the electrical, dimensional, torque, and frequency domains. Watch the video to explore the Stevenage laboratory in detail.

The laboratory houses a DMM robot that automates the calibration of digital multimeters, with only reloading requiring manual intervention. This frees up skilled engineers to focus on more complex calibrations.

About the laboratory

Our Stevenage laboratory provides instrument calibration and repair services that are accredited and/or certified in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025. Instrument calibration and repair services can be delivered at your site or at our lab. Accreditations for our instrument calibration lab in Stevenage, UK guarantee calibration results are traceable to the International Systems of units (SI) through UKAS.

Over the past year, Trescal have integrated environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives throughout the Group. To assess the initiatives, they have undertaken a third-party audit to measure their performance and identify how to improve.

Trescal’s ESG efforts included three key initiatives:

The Group’s 2022 commitments were set in accordance with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which encourage companies to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. The Group matches its ESG initiatives with three of the UN’s SDGs, Good Health and Well-Being, Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Responsible Consumption and Production, to address inequality, poverty, climate action, sustainability, and education.
