Acoustic Calibration

WHAT WE DO
Trescal’s fully accredited acoustic calibration laboratories ensure that your audiometric, acoustic and vibration equipment performs how it was meant to. From a handheld screening device to a fully featured clinical instrument, we provide ISO/IEC 17025 accredited and traceable calibration from our laboratories or on your site.
EQUIPMENT TYPES & CALIBRATION SCOPE
EQUIPMENT TYPES
Trescal calibrates sound over all parameters such as sound level meter, intensity, power and quality as well as RT60 reverberation time and octave band analysis. We calibrate a wide range of acoustic devices, including:
- Sound level meters
- Measurement microphones
- Acoustic calibrators, pistonphones and multi-tone calibrators
- Noise dosimeters
- Outdoor and surface microphones
- Sound intensity probes
CALIBRATION SCOPE
- Free-field calibration: 125 Hz…20 kHz (sound pressure level 75 dB to 94 dB)
- Pressure calibration (in an electroacoustic coupler): 31.5 Hz to 16 kHz (64 dB to 114 dB)
- Pressure calibration (two-point with pistonphone and calibrator): 250 Hz (94 dB, 114 dB or 124 dB) and 1 kHz (94 dB or 114 dB)
- Pressure chamber, low frequency (only factory calibration possible): 0.1 Hz to 31.5 Hz (124 dB)
- Full electrical calibration
