Our laboratories are the lynch pin

As a service company, we can make the most impact to our environmental goals by ensuring waste and energy reduction at our 400+ laboratories. Our QHSE department audits all of our laboratories against environmental criteria every year. In the United Kingdom, we hold ISO 14001 certification for our environmental management system.

Our laboratory in Toulon, France, is entirely carbon neutral. Solar panels provide energy. A living roof provides insulation, creates a habitat for wildlife and helps lower urban air temperatures. Electric vehicle recharging stations, fed by the building’s solar panels, enable the transition to short-distance vehicles. We aim to make these improvements standard for all of our laboratories.
